Funding and Partners

The Whistler Multicultural Network (WMN) and Pemberton Multicultural Network (PMN) were created in 2012 through a process of community consultation funded by the SMART Fund, Vancouver Coastal Health who remain a major funder of our core activities. Funding for settlement and ESL services is provided by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) and British Columbia Settlement and Integration Services (BCSIS). Additional adult literacy and ESL is delivered through funding from the British Columbia Ministry of Advanced Education (MAVED).

Programs are delivered as a collaboration with program management provided by Capilano University, Community Development and Outreach Department, and settlement, integration and outreach services staffed by Sea to Sky Community Services.

The Whistler Welcome Centre is a partnership with the Whistler Public Library, and the Pemberton Welcome Centre is delivered in partnership with Sea to Sky Community Services.
