Whistler Children’s Activities

Whistler 4 Kids has a website that lists some of the activities for families with children to enjoy.

Moving Mountains for Children is a local volunteer organization aimed at supporting activities for children 0-6 years old.

Whistler Municipality publishes their seasonal recreation guides offering a variety of programs for all ages at their community recreation facilities.   Click here to view or download the guide, see local events and keep up to date.

Children in Pre-School (ages 5 and under)

  • Free story time, music and rhyme time at the Whistler library nearly every day for babies and toddlers – click here for the schedule.
  • Parent-Tot Drop In for age 0-6 yrs at Myrtle Philip school every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. $2.50/child or $20 for a 10 time pass
  • Music Together, Open Gym and Babysitting at Meadow Park are programs offered by Moving Mountains for Children, activities available almost every weekday.
  • Skiing:  Ski passes are free for children up to age 7, they still need to get a ticket, these are available at Guest Services or any Ticket Window.  Whistler Blackcomb also has ski school programs for youngsters, and childcare programs for children aged 18months and up.   Check the Whistler Blackcomb website.

Children in Elementary School (ages 5-14)

Skiing: Whistler Blackcomb offers downhill ski school programs.  Check the Whistler Blackcomb (WB) website:  http://www.whistlerblackcomb.com/lessons-and-rentals/lessons/kids-and-teens/index.aspx  Also, if you have kids in Grade 1-7, call WB about the WESP Program (Whistler elementary school program)  – this program offers affordable weekday ski school for local kids only, and is NOT advertised on the WB site.
