Every Friday morning, join us at the Welcome Centre for this FREE weekly, casual meet up, where we provide workshops, cultural sharing activities and information about living in Canada. You can drop-in to see our Settlement Worker, or just have a chat and coffee.

Date & Time: 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m., Fridays

October 4th. Turtle Crafts. Come and join us have some fun making turtles with your kids.

October 11th Thanksgiving Crafts. It is Thanksgiving weekend. Let’s start off the long weekend and make some turkey pictures.

October 18th Straw Painting. Come and make some cool straw paintings. Kids will love it. Let’s get crafty.

October 25th Pumpkin Carving. It’s time for Halloween, come and do some pumpkin carving, all pumpkins provided. Let’s get creative.

English language groups for eligible clients run from September to June. Register at the Welcome Centre to check your eligibility and best options.

Monday Conversation Circle: morning (10 – 11.30 am) in the Community Room at the Whistler Public Library. Every Monday morning this month.

Wednesday Conversation Circle: Wednesday evening (6 – 7.30pm) at Tamwood International language school. Every Wednesday this month.

General English group – Monday evenings (7 – 8.30pm) at the Whistler Public Library.  Every Monday evening this month.

This month learn to cook a traditional Czech dish called Vepro-Knedlo-Zelo (Czech Roast Pork with Dumplings and Sauerkraut.
