Funding and Partners

The Whistler Multicultural Network (WMN) and Pemberton Multicultural Network (PMN) were created in 2012 through a process of community consultation funded by the SMART Fund, Vancouver Coastal Health who remain a major funder of our core activities. Most activities are now delivered through the Whistler and Pemberton Welcome Centres, staffed by Capilano University and Sea to Sky Community Services and run in collaboration with the Whistler Public Library and Sea to Sky Community Services.

Funding for settlement and ESL services is provided by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) and British Columbia Settlement and Integration Services (BCSIS). Additional adult literacy and ESL is delivered through funding from the British Columbia Ministry of Advanced Education (MAVED).

In 2018, our thanks go to the following organizations who have supported programs and projects at the Whistler and Pemberton Welcome Centres, the Whistler Multicultural Network and Pemberton Multicultural Network:
