2018 Photo Challenge – Show Us Your Whistler

Congratulations to our winner Zuzana Korcova for winning the contest!

Zuzana took this photo of her son and husband in the winter. Boys are having a well-deserved snack after working hard! They’ve just finished shovelling off lot’s of snow so their community could enjoy playing hockey and skating at the lake.

How do YOU see Whistler?

We’re inviting all photographers to take a photo (or two) showing us their personal view of our town. This year, we’re exploring the theme of connections and participation in the community… How do you connect with others? What things do you like to participate in? What makes you feel part of the community – in town, in your neighbourhood, at work, or at play?

Show us your experience of Whistler, what is important to you in Whistler life, what makes you feel you belong, and how you see community life.

Want some photo tips?

Join local photographer, Toshi Kawano, in a FREE WORKSHOP at the Whistler Public Library on Saturday May 12 from 1 to 3pm. Learn how to select, compose, frame and light your photos on your own camera or phone. Register now to make sure you get a place info@welcomewhistler.com
