Most of our activities and programs are free to access and open to all participants. To get full updates and find out what services, programs and activities you qualify for, register at the Whistler Welcome Centre:

To participate in free English language groups or work one-to-one with a tutor, register at the Welcome Centre first. Drop-in at the Welcome Centre at the Whistler Public Library 3-6pm on a Monday and 9.30 to 12 on a Friday morning. You’ll need to take your immigration document; permanent resident card, landing document, or visa document.
Can’t make those days/times? Email us or call us – we’ll send you a registration form to complete and send back to us with a copy of your immigration document.
Once you’re registered, we’ll let you know which language groups/services you qualify for.

Kids and Screen time: Technology is here to stay, it is part of our lives, many parents struggle with how to manage kids and screen time. In this workshop we will cover:
Talk to other parents about their children and technology.

Complete an application form and tell us what you’re interested in helping with. We always try to work with our volunteers so they can get involved in the way that works best for them, so give us as much detail as necessary. Once you’ve sent us the application, we’ll arrange to meet with you so we can both learn more.
