Cooking is fun! This month, we are sharing a traditional dish from the Netherlands (Dutch cuisine) in our Multicultural Community Kitchen.
Traditionally, Dutch cuisine is simple and straightforward, with many vegetables and little meat: breakfast and lunch are typically bread with toppings like cheese, while dinner is meat and potatoes, supplemented with seasonal vegetables.

If you would like to learn how to make stampot (mashed potatoes with sauted kale), join us on January 19 at 6pm.
This dish is traditionally served with a classic Dutch smoked sausage called rookworst, however you can combine with any smoked sausage. Click here for full details.

Want to sign up? Email Phoebe on phoebe.wu@welcomewhistler.com

The next community kitchen is planned on February, which is going to be Korean!
