On April 15 from 6pm to 7pm on Zoom and Facebook live, our community kitchen will be hosted by Rita who is originally from Switzerland.
Are you a cheese lover? Then you don’t want to miss out this month’s kitchen. We are going to cook –Älplermagronen (Swiss Macaroni and Cheese with Applesauce).
In Swiss-German, Macaroni and cheese is called Älplermagronen, which roughly translates as alpine macaroni. This traditional dish is simple with a perhaps surprising but delicious flavor combination of hearty cheese, tart browned onions, bacon and sweet apple sauce.
If you would like to learn how to make Älplermagronen, join us on April 15 at 6pm. To reserve your place, please register here.
